The Glider Pilot Regiment Society

The Glider Pilot Regiment Society of Family, Heritage and Remembrance has been set up following the winding down of the Glider Pilot Regimental Association (GPRA). The Society is not intended to replace the GPRA but rather to celebrate the history of the regiment and provide a means of contact for Glider Pilots and their relatives.

The objective of the society is to preserve and promote the heritage of The Glider Pilot Regiment through education and engagement and create a network for veterans of the Glider Pilot Regiment and their families to engage with one another for the purposes of remembrance and community.

We will forge the regiment as a weapon of attack…Not only will we be trained as pilots, but in all we do…I shall be quite ruthless…only the best will be tolerated.
